Operators, MROs, and flight crews can utilize rich data to review an aircraft's operation for trend analysis and to contribute to the optimization of future flights.
When incidents or accidents occur, a cockpit recorder is of enormous support for assessing human factors and events leading up to an occurrence. Investigators can gain valuable insights into why an event occurred and make much more meaningful safety recommendations from their findings.
Government and regulatory agencies are increasingly making it mandatory to have cockpit recording devices fitted. SmartHUB complies with FAA rule 135.607 for Helicopter Air Ambulance operators and International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) recommendations set out in sections 9 (Helicopter Flight Data Monitoring) and section 16 (Cockpit Camera).
Flight exceedance events can be set prior to flight, then if met during flight an alert is triggered that can be viewed post flight. These alerts can also be communicated to the operator in real time if used in conjunction with the DZMx.
A valuable investment for flight schools to utilize actual student pilot performance data to better evaluate and educate aspiring pilots.
Utilize flight data to proactively reduce risk, identify flight anomalies and aid in incident investigations, with the key objective of improving flight safety for both crew and passengers.
SmartHUB is a cost-effective solution for aircraft where Flight Data Recorders are an operational requirement and not a regulated requirement.
